It doesn’t help that when Wakefield made his controversial and discredited claim against vaccination, that Let it bee shirt mainstream media outlet instantly became his mouthpiece, spreading fear and misinformation. Press media freedom is going to have to be dealt with at some point. Politicians fear to do it because they’ll be labeled as creating a closed state news environment, akin to China, North Korea and now Russia. Social media can be extremely dangerous if you’re not careful.
