On my visit to the Brit lands of my heritage as a young man I did not feel as much a connection as I have with colorful Mexican culture, people and ways - but I must admit that when I hear such power as in this song I feel deep inside that connection with my Toki and Dr Rockso death Metal shirt, Scottish and Irish ancestors . Now in my golden years, I need to return again to the U.K. to give it another go - as my old rugby buds would say. I, too, am half Mexican and half British. I have only been to my mother's homeland of Scotland once about 30 years ago. I've not yet been to my grandmother's homeland in Ireland but have that on my bucket list. It's odd but as much as I love my parents' diverse cultures, I am an American first.
