After returning from Iraq alive I had a fresh perspective on life. I had continued training back in Florida and was able to see Christina for a few hours in our circle of friends before I left back for Okinawa. Christina was heading to Australia with her boyfriend a week after I left. We continued to communicate over email and instant message.
